All prospective member applicants are subject to a background and credit check. The candidate's name will be posted at the Club for two weeks as part of the membership process. All members are subject to MHYC By-Laws, Code of Regulations and Rules.
Following are brief descriptions of MHYC Membership Classifications. To inquire further, contact Rebecca Owoc, Membership Coordinator.
A person at least 21 years of age. A Full Member shall have the right to vote to help govern the corporation and the right to use and enjoy all of the facilities of the Club, including boating.
A person at least 21 years of age. Yachtsman Membership is a non-voting, non-equity membership. This classification is limited to no more than twenty (20) boating members. A Yachtsman member may operate and store a boat on the property, and shall have the right to use and enjoy all of the facilities of the Club. Dockage assignments will be made after Full members have been assigned docks.
A person at least 21 years of age. A Social Member shall not have the right to vote or maintain a vessel at the Club or waters of the harbor, but shall have the right to use and enjoy the facilities and amenities of the Club.
To be eligible for Junior Membership a person shall be at least 18 years of age but less than 40 years of age. A Junior Member shall not have the right to vote, but shall have the right to use and enjoy all of the facilities of the Club, including boating. Ask about the SuperJunior Membership, for ages 18 to 26!
Corporate and Non-Resident Memberships are also available.
